dior nail polish review

The Dior Spring 2016 is easily the most anticipated nail polish collection of the new season. The irresistible colour range of 3 limited edition pastels, Dior Lilac, Bleuette and Garden with a splash of shimmering bright coral Dior Pivoine is the epitome of spring!
Dior polishes are always top quality with a great brush and flawless formula. So far I’ve never had any issues with them and this collection is no exception.
If you’re new to Dior or simply interested to know more about each colour and its performance, we’ve got a full review for you below.
REVIEW:
Formula: 5-free, extra glossy, fast drying and long-lasting. It’s on the thinner side formula-wise, so you’ll need 3 thin coats to get these polishes fully opaque. All swatches – 3 thin coats with 1 layer of a top coat.
Application: As always, these Dior polishes were a dream to apply – fast drying, flawless formula and extra-wide soft brush with rounded ends. If you have small nail beds, you may be even able to apply the polish in one stroke.
Finish/Colour:
- Dior Garden – a washed out pastel grass green creme with a very subtle shimmer effect, opaque in 3 coats.
- Dior Pivoine – a neon coral jelly polish with a strong bright pink shimmer, opaque in 3 coats.
- Dior Lilac – a classic pastel lilac pink cream, opaque in 3 thin coats.
- Dior Bluette – a light pastel blue creme polish with warm undertones and a very subtle shimmer effect, opaque in 3 coats.
Dupes: The closest colours to Dior Lilac is OPI Look At My Bow and Picture Polish Dream, Dior Bleuette is very close to OPI Gelato On My Mind. Dior Garden and Dior Pivoine don’t seem to have any dupes. I’ll add dupe photos tomorrow here and on Twitter – so if you’d like to see dupes, please return or find me on Twitter
Wearability: Lasted for 5 days with top coat.
Nail Art: Dior Spring 2016 nail polishes have a flawless formula and are perfect for any kind of nail art.
